Todd Schietroma is an award-winning composer with over 14 years experience composing for many types of media. He scored commercials
for Nike, Kodak, MasterCard, Audi, Mercedes, Guess; composed TV IDs for
MTV, TNT, TBS, AMC, Discovery, Hallmark, Disney Channel, and ESPN
including the original ESPN NFL theme; and did sound branding and
interactive work for IBM. Todd received an AICP Award for Guess “And
God Created Woman” and a CLIO Award for Audi “Gasoline”. Both tracks
feature Todd’s signature Latin grooves.
An accomplished percussionist, Todd studied with renowned Cuban,
Indian, African, and Brazilian Master drummers. As the son of a
percussion professor and a choir director, Todd began a love affair
with music at a very young age. He honed his craft through years of
study and countless performances receiving a Bachelors of Music Degree
from the distinguished music school at the University of North Texas.
Growing up in such a musical environment, Todd immersed himself in
varied styles of music that have served him well as a commercial
composer. As a master of world music and rhythms, Todd brings a unique
perspective to music composition.
In 2003, Todd created Roma Empire Music after a 10-year composer
position with Elias Arts in New York City. Roma Empire was founded to
advance artistic boundaries while simultaneously meeting and exceeding
our clients’ expectations. Having scored thousands of commercials in
every musical style, we have the expertise and resources to design
unique soundscapes for your project. With a full production/live room
studio, state of the art Pro Tools HD facility, Roma Empire will
produce exceptional quality, "ready for air" music tracks.
